Manages data requests from around the organization. This includes working closely with business leaders to define business goals, recommend requirements and presentation of data.
Use internal and external analytics tools, such as Heap and Google analytics, SQL, and scripting languages to access and analyze multivariate data and share data stories that make sense to business and technical audiences
Create readable and informative data visualizations to communicate data insights to business stakeholders
Manages and enhances existing business intelligence reporting and visualization.
Maintain the library of model metrics, documents, templates, reports, dashboards and other business intelligence assets that drive key business decisions.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in Tech,Product, Finance, Sales and Marketing to translate findings into actions
Analyze data with standard statistical methods, interpret results, and provide written and oral summaries of data analysis
Analyzes business processes to determine how they can be improved to improve outcomes, or to drive efficiency through automation.
Summarize and simplify analysis results effectively and share with teammates and business partners through a wide variety of mediums
Skill Set
3+ years in a data analytics or strategy data-intensive role (High growth, technology, strategy consulting, business intelligence, investment banking/private equity background)
Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and R or Python,working knowledge of MSSQL databases
Practical experience in extracting data from various sources (e.g. REST APIs, NoSQL databases, CSV files) and preparing the data for an efficient analysis
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Strong analysis and critical thinking skills.
Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects (if required) and excellent documentation skills
Understand business processes, the underlying data, and cross-cutting data sets for various systems within the business unit
Perform data validation and quality assurance
Ensure data integrity between the different cross cut reports produced through the system.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects and priorities
Perform advanced analysis on the data
Ensure timely delivery of reports, and manage conflicting priorities and customer expectations
Good analytical thinking skills and a team player
Sound understanding of Web based programming languages and scripts is a major plus
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.Able to communicate business challenges to Management and assist in developing recommendations and solutions in consultation with appropriate staff
