Clickafix Academy, a technical and vocational training school situated in Asaba, Delta State, just graduated its most recent class of young artisans.
The vision of this technical and vocational training program is to prepare and equip young people with the skills needed to enhance the desired workforce, which will act as a driving force for personal and national growth. Technical and vocational education is vital to national growth, particularly in terms of job creation, and lowering the societal dropout rate, and Clickafix Academy has risen to the task and wants to fill this gap.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Arun Goswami, founder, and director of Clickafix, congratulated the 316 successful graduates and reiterated the academy’s vision. To empower the Nigerian youth by providing skills that would allow them to become positive contributors to the Nigerian economy.
Mr. Arun also advised graduates to take on the task of finding work by using the Clickafix Handyman app. The app serves as a marketplace, connecting craftsmen with hundreds of people looking for dependable home services and repairs in their area.
He added that the graduates must download, register and ensure that they are available on the Handyman app so that the customers who are using the Clickafix customer app, Clickafix: Home Services and Repairs, can easily assign jobs to them.
Others in attendance were urged to download the Clickafix app and work alongside the trained handyman.
Overall, the graduation ceremony was a success, with graduates eager to put their newly acquired talents to use and become constructive contributors to Nigeria’s economy.
