Highlights of September Global Communion Service with Pastor Chris

PSALM 126:5-6
5 They that sow in tears Shall reap in joy. 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

Doubtless – without fail, A sheaf is a bundle of grain stalks bound together after harvesting for ease of transportation or storage. We often use it to refer to a package. It’s used here to refer to harvest.

The Old Testament is very different from the New Testament in that in the Old Testament they were God’s servants, and God had to do things for them when they called upon Him. In the New Testament, we are His children and partners and we do things together with Him.

In the Old Testament, the angels had authority over God’s people and could even take actions against them for disobedience or unbelief. In the New Testament, the angels are our servants; they serve us.

HEBREWS 1:13-14
In the Old Testament, they ministered ‘to’ them, but now in the New, they minister ‘for’ us. He has given us the name of Jesus, which is above all names, and we function in and by that name.

JOHN 15:8
Jesus wants to see us produce results; He wants to see us make things happen and if we don’t make them happen, nothing will change.

Think what we can do as God’s sons… We’re God’s amazing children. He said nothing shall be impossible unto you. He thinks so highly of us; He thinks we’re super.

It doesn’t matter what happens to or around you, you carry peace with you. Jesus is your peace. He lives in us today as the logos of God and when we speak, Jesus is manifested. That’s why He said to let the Word dwell in us richly.

He said if you abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will… So what is it you want? Ask what you will; don’t complain.

He is with me by the Holy Ghost, I refuse to fear. That’s what faith is, waking in the Word of God, refusing to walk by your senses. Receiving, accepting and endorsing what God says and walking in the light of it, irrespective of sensory perception.

This is why you can be joyful everyday and all situations, never moved by anything because you live in the Word. PSALM 1:1-3, PSALM 23:1-3

Fill your life with God’s Word; be conscious of His Word. His Word on your lips is God at work.

This month is our Month of Gathering Sheaves. It’s our month of gathering sheaves, gathering results. Interestingly, it also a month of gathering the fragments. Jesus taught the disciples to gather the fragments and let nothing be lost. This month we’re gathering fragments: those ‘little’ things which the Lord has blessed you with, which you may have considered to be nothing; as you take account of them, you’ll find that God has blessed you with so much.

In soul winning, you’re getting them together; you’ve been winning souls, it’s time to get them to church. In the realm of the Spirit, you’ve been praying and issuing commands, it’s time to see the results.

Gathering sheaves, putting my harvest together; nothing shall be lost. By the end of the month, we would be full of testimonies.

Consolidation is taking place. It’s a special month.
